Flexibility with Portfolio Home Loans
Fremont Bank is proud to offer the flexibility of portfolio lending. These loans are underwritten to our own internal standards and guidelines, thus allowing us to have more latitude than with traditional underwriting. When making underwriting decisions, we evaluate a client’s entire financial situation, and most importantly, their ability to repay the loan.
There are a variety of reasons why traditional underwriting might be a challenge. It could be that you have unique credit or income circumstances, a unique property type, or are simply looking to expand your investment property portfolio. In cases like these, portfolio loans are a great solution.
Currently we offer two competitively priced portfolio Adjustable Rate Mortgage (ARM) loan products with either a five-year or seven-year initial fixed period. We lend on primary residences from $100,000 to $2.5 million and investment properties to $1 million with loan amount exceptions considered case-by-case.
