Fremont Bank ranked #2 in Bay Area companies the give the largest percentage of their profits to charity and ranked #26 overall among the Top Corporate Philanthropists in the Bay Area. Fremont Bank and other winners have been recognized in a special section of the San Francisco Business Times and at their Corporate Philanthropy Awards Ceremony. Honorees will also be featured in the SF Business Times’ Book of Lists.
The Top Corporate Philanthropists award honors the region’s most active and inspirational companies that have made a difference in their communities through both financial and philanthropic work. The list ranks companies by dollar value of cash contributions made to Bay Area-based charities in the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma. The application process is open to all for-profit companies, both public and private, along with nonprofit healthcare organizations. Companies are required to provide a detailed breakdown of philanthropic contributions in the previous fiscal year.
