In 2021, for the 17th year in a row, we were honored to be recognized as a Top Bay Area Corporate Philanthropist by the San Francisco Business Times for the 2020 charitable outreach we did.
Fremont Bank ranked No. 26 overall among the Bay Area’s Top Corporate Philanthropists. Fremont Bank and other winners were recognized in a special section of the July 30, 2021 San Francisco Business Times, and at its Corporate Philanthropy Awards Ceremony.
The Top Corporate Philanthropists recognition honors 100 of the region’s most active and inspirational companies that have made a difference in their communities through both financial and philanthropic work. The list ranks companies by dollar value of cash contributions made to Bay Area-based charities in the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma. The application process is open to all for-profit companies, both public and private, along with nonprofit healthcare organizations. Companies are required to provide a detailed breakdown of philanthropic contributions in the previous fiscal year.
