Leading by Example: Fremont Bank Is a Presenting Sponsor of Compassion Week

Supporting the community has been our mission since we opened our doors in 1964. But this year, showing support for our neighbors and maintaining a sense of community have been more important than ever. To further our mission, Fremont Bank is proud to be a Presenting Sponsor and only Corporate Partner of Compassion Week, a week-long series of community service and social justice opportunities in the Silicon Valley. With our newest branch in the heart of Mountain View, we are excited to be active partners in this community.
Compassion Week is all about building a strong, empathetic community by expanding the understanding of local and global needs. From October 5–11, 2020, hundreds of volunteers will participate in safe, family-focused service activities, inclusive of all ages and abilities. Habitat for Humanity, Play House construction, Rise Against Hunger meal packing, and Sole Hope Shoe Cutting are among the many activities in which participants can serve. All projects will adhere to COVID-19-safe procedures.
Never has our nation and community needed compassion more than right now. The power of human kindness can build bridges, support those in need, and even comfort our own troubled hearts. Through this sponsorship and Fremont Bank’s monetary donation, we hope to help build a stronger tomorrow for our local citizens that will continue to resonate globally.
