Continuing trend in expanding commercial lending department following community demand for financing options to grow local business.
FREMONT, Calif., August 7, 2017 – Fremont Bank, a leading full-service community bank in California, announced today the recent addition to the company’s commercial lending department. Matt Cooper, who has been at Fremont Bank for nearly ten years, was recently promoted to Commercial Relationship Specialist.
“We are thrilled to welcome Matt into the Commercial Lending Department at Fremont Bank during this exciting period of growth for the company,” said Don Marek, vice president of commercial banking. “His intrinsic knowledge about Fremont Bank will help provide personalized service to businesses big and small, finding the financial solutions to help them grow, while building relationships within the community – something Fremont Bank has been doing for over 50 years”
Cooper first joined Fremont Bank as part of the Community Bank Lending Exchange (CBLX) helping community banks all over California by enabling them to provide residential mortgages directly to their clients. In 2015, he advanced to the Private Banking Department and worked as a Loan Officer taking care of our high profile clients. Cooper will be based out of our new Rockridge branch providing a superior level of customer service to current and prospective clients.
The growth of local businesses is the reason that Fremont Bank continues to focus on expanding commercial lending in the greater Bay Area.
