| FREMONT BANK WINS ENVIRONMENTAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Hayward City Council and Mayor Michael Sweeney honor bank for its environmental initiatives
FREMONT, Calif. April 11, 2012 - Fremont Bank, is honored to receive the 2012 Environmental Achievement Award bestowed annually by the Hayward City Council and Mayor Michael Sweeney.
The 2012 Environmental Achievement Award was based on Fremont Bank's environmental initiatives including a recycling program to reduce the amount of materials sent to landfills.
Hayward City Council will recognize Fremont Bank at a special presentation on April 24, 2012. The award will be accepted by Sandi Redmond, Director of Facilities and Logistic Services for Fremont Bank, and Beth Fancher, Facilities Manager.
“We are honored to be singled out for recognition by the local community for our commitment to the environment,”said Redmond.
