ALISO VIEJO, California - November 19, 2009 - Fremont Bank, a leading full-service community bank based in Northern California, today announced its expansion into Southern California to offer traditional prime residential mortgage lending, with a mix of retail, bank-to-bank and targeted wholesale lending services. On December 1st, Fremont Bank will open its Residential Lending Center in Aliso Viejo, led by financial industry veteran Brad Seibel.

Brad Seibel comes to Fremont Bank with more than 25 years of banking and lending experience. Prior to joining the Bank, Seibel led numerous financial institutions throughout the West Coast, including his tenure as senior vice president at Chevy Chase Bank. At Chevy Chase Bank, he expanded the mortgage loan origination platform throughout the West Coast and established the Western Division wholesale operation and national correspondent program from inception. Seibel received his MBA from Pepperdine University and B.S. of Science/Economics from the University of Wisconsin.
