FREMONT, California - December 9, 2008 - Global information commerce solution provider First Data (Denver) and Fremont Bank (Fremont, Calif.) have reached an agreement where First data will provide ATM management services, including hardware and software, maintenance, cash replenishment, Check 21 deposit acceptance and cash funding, for Fremont Bank's 32 ATM locations.

"This new agreement helps us manage procurement, monthly maintenance fees and activities and offers us the latest in full service ATM technology without the bank having to spend significant extra dollars up front," said Christopher A. Olson, chief operating officer of Fremont Bank. "We can focus on providing concierge service to our customers while First Data manages the ATMs."

Fremont Bank has been a STAR Network member since 1986. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. First Data will partner with NCR to provide the ATMs for the bank.
