FREMONT, California - January 28, 2005 - Fremont Bank recently revamped its Wealth Management and Financial Services divisions to better meet the financial needs of its clients. These divisions of the Bank now offer a more complete set of financial services for both businesses and individuals - including Trust services, personal investing, retirement planning and a complete array of insurance options.

"Our Wealth Management group provides a full range of fee-based fiduciary services for individuals and businesses. For example, depending on the client's needs, we can act as custodian for their assets or we can take full responsibility for managing them," explains Ron Flaiani, director of Financial Services at Fremont Bank. "Another unique feature about our Wealth Management area is the fact that we actively cater to people and organizations with a minimum of $250,000 to invest. Most bank Trust Departments require much higher account values to qualify for these services."

The new FB Financial Services division offers full-service brokerage capabilities to help the Bank's clients manage their investment portfolios to meet a wide range of financial goals. Clients can choose from a broad spectrum of investment options, including mutual funds, stocks and bonds, fixed and variable annuities, IRA's, 401(k) plans and many other retirement planning vehicles. In addition, FB Financial Services has insurance specialists dealing in Long Term Care, Disability and Life Insurance.

"Part of our new service is to offer a comprehensive free financial plan to all Fremont Bank clients.
