The three things I can’t live without: family, hope, music.
5. What’s your favorite book?
I love to read and usually read three or four books a month, so it is hard to pick a favorite. But if I could only pick one it would be the 1960 classic “To Kill A Mockingbird” by Harper Lee because it explores themes of racial prejudice and injustice. It poses the fundamental question of how do I get along with people who are different from me? It takes place in Depression-era Alabama.
6. Favorite hobbies?
I have several hobbies. I love to spend time with family and friends. I enjoy riding the Peloton and working out. Travel is in my top 5 favorite things to do. Some of my favorite places to visit are Italy, France, Maui, New York City, and London. Baking and cooking are fun especially if it’s for a special occasion. Listening to music and going to concerts. I relish the opportunity to see a good play. I love to start my day with a walk. Some might call me a bookworm because I would rather read than watch TV. Lately, I have decided to get into houseplants and have about 10 and they are all doing well. In the winter, puzzles are fun to put together and easy to do with friends and family. Living so close to Napa and Livermore, wine tasting is always fun, especially if paired with cheese or chocolate.
