Information Regarding the 2nd Round of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)
As of Tuesday, May 4, Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) funding has been exhausted, and the PPP application portal has stopped accepting applications for loans from most lenders (including Fremont Bank). Please contact us if you have any questions about a loan in progress.
Fremont Bank is here to help clients who are experiencing a financial hardship due to the coronavirus pandemic.
We want to make sure all your banking needs are met during these challenging times.
Economic Impact Payments
The US government will issue another round of “Economic Impact Payments” as part of the coronavirus relief package, signed into law on December 27. Also referred to as “stimulus checks” these direct cash payments to individuals and families are for financial relief during the coronavirus pandemic. As always, but especially now, we are here for you. That’s why we’re taking extra steps to support your banking needs. These steps include:
The Fremont Bank Foundation has continued its proactive support of Bay Area communities and our clients. Since the pandemic began, we have donated $3 million, which included $800,000 to local hospitals for COVID-19 relief efforts and vaccine distribution, $570,000 to local school districts to facilitate remote learning and return to school plans and $710,000 for food and safety net services for our most vulnerable Bay Area residents.
We are encouraging everyone to use Fremont Bank’s mobile and online banking for 24/7 bank account access. You can access your accounts online or by using the Fremont Bank mobile app at your convenience.
