Fremont Bank Foundation Awards $115,000 to Local Nonprofits for the Holidays

FREMONT, Calif., December 5, 2018–Fremont Bank Foundation (FBF), the philanthropic arm of the Bay Area’s Fremont Bank, recently announced the recipients for its annual holiday grant program. This year, the Fremont Bank Foundation gave $115,000 to support 26 local nonprofits that serve food or distribute food baskets to those in need. Throughout the year, the Fremont Bank Foundation supports the community and each holiday season they support local nonprofit organizations with grants to help them provide extra food and basic necessities to low-income residents and families.
“Fremont Bank clients should feel very proud of the financial institutions they have chosen.  It is their support of the Bank that make it possible for us to give back in such a big way during the holidays,” said Brian Hughes, Executive Director, Fremont Bank Foundation and Vice President, Fremont Bank, “During this season, demand for food and shelter is at its highest. I am grateful we are in a position to carry on the tradition of contributing to our local nonprofits during the holiday season.”
