Fremont Bank Named Bay Area Top Workplace For Seventh Consecutive Year

Fremont Bank, the only independent and locally owned full service bank in the Bay Area, has been named a Top Workplace for the seventh straight year by the Bay Area Newsgroup. A special mention was given to Fremont Bank for community involvement for Associate participation in the Napa Valley Tour de Cure benefiting the American Diabetes Association and the Relay for Life events benefiting the American Cancer Society.

“Our associates are the foundation of the value we bring to our clients. Their commitment and delightfulness is what sets them and Fremont Bank apart. This award is recognition of who they are and how they contribute to the success of the bank. As our bank grows, results like this strengthen our determination to attract, develop and reward our associates enabling us to provide our clients with superior service,” said Fremont Bank President/CEO Andy Mastorakis.

The Bay Area Top Workplaces award is based on an independent survey conducted by Workplace Dynamics. This year Fremont Bank had a personal record of 615 Associates who responded to the survey. Associates were asked to rate their satisfaction with several aspects of working at Fremont Bank, including pay and benefits, company direction, management team, career mobility, and workplace conditions. Company rankings were based on a composite score calculated on the basis of employee responses.

Awards were given in three company categories - large, midsize and small. This year, Fremont Bank ranks #7 in the large company category and is the top ranked financial institution.
