Fremont Bank Welcomes Tony Kim as Carmel Branch Manager

Bank celebrates with branch event; now open on Saturdays

FREMONT, Calif. April 2, 2013 - Fremont Bank, a leading full-service community bank in California, has announced Tony Kim as the new manager of its Carmel branch. Kim will lead day-to-day branch operations and focus on growing the bank's presence in Carmel and communities across Monterey County.

Kim previously managed multiple branches for Wells Fargo, where he successfully grew branch deposits and increased lending. At Wells Fargo, Kim received numerous company-wide recognitions for individual achievements and led teams that consistently ranked high on customer service scores.

“Tony has a great record of success building local relationships and growing business. We are thrilled he's joined the Fremont Bank family,” said Kim Burdick, senior vice president of community banking.

The bank officially welcomed Kim during an event held at its Carmel branch location that featured products from local merchants, including wine, cheese and chocolates. The bank also announced that its Carmel branch will now be open to the community until 6 p.m. on Fridays and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
