Fremont Bank is committed to being an active member of, and a valued resource to, the communities we serve. We are proud to be recognized year after year for our approach to corporate philanthropy. The following is a list of awards and recognitions recently received by Fremont Bank.
2011
- Fremont Bank was honored as one of the "Top 65 Corporate Philanthropists in the Greater Bay Area" by the San Francisco Business Times in July. The list is based on total cash contributions paid by companies to Bay Area nonprofits in 2010.
- At the annual San Francisco Business Times Bay Area Corporate Philanthropy Summit and Awards breakfast, Fremont Bank received its sixth Levi Strauss Community Commitment Award, which recognizes companies for giving more than 1% of their pre-tax profit to charities. One percent of pre-tax profits is considered the national benchmark for charitable giving best practices.
2010
- Fremont Bank was honored as one of the Top 50 Corporate Philanthropists
in the Silicon Valley by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business
Journal at its 2010 Corporate Philanthropy Awards Ceremony. The
awards are based on the total cash contributions made by the region’s
businesses to local charities in 2009.
- For the sixth consecutive year, Fremont Bank was named by the
San Francisco Business Times as one of the “Top 60 Corporate Philanthropists
in the Greater Bay Area.” The list is based on total cash contributions
paid by companies to Bay Area nonprofits in 2009.
- At the annual San Francisco Business Times Bay Area Corporate
Philanthropy Summit and Awards breakfast, Fremont Bank received
its fifth Levi Strauss Community Commitment Award, which recognizes
companies for giving more than 1% of their pretax profit to charities.
One percent of pre-tax profits is considered the national benchmark
for charitable giving best practices.
2009
- Fremont Bank received an award for its philanthropic activities by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal at its 2009 Corporate Philanthropy Awards Ceremony, and was listed in the Business Journal Giving Guide as one of the Top 50 Corporate Philanthropists in the Silicon Valley/San Jose Area.
- Fremont Bank was once again honored as one of The Top 70 Largest Corporate Philanthropists in the Greater Bay Area by the San Francisco Business Times at its Annual Corporate Philanthropy Summit. The list is based on total cash contributions paid by companies to Bay Area nonprofits in 2008.
- For the fourth year in a row, Fremont Bank received a Levi Strauss & Co. Community Commitment Award, which is given each year by the San Francisco Business Times to companies for giving more than 1% of their pre-tax income to charitable causes. One percent of pre-tax profits is considered the national benchmark for charitable giving best practices.
2008
- For the fourth year in a row, Fremont Bank was honored as one of The Top 70 Largest Corporate Philanthropists in the Greater Bay Area by the San Francisco Business Times at its Annual Corporate Summit. Our ranking on the publication’s highly coveted list moved up again this year, to number 25! The list is based on total cash contributions paid by companies to Bay Area nonprofits in 2007.
- Fremont Bank received a Levi Strauss & Co. Community Commitment Award, which is given each year by the San Francisco Business Times to companies for giving more than 1% of their pre-tax income to charitable causes. One percent of pre-tax profits is considered the national benchmark for charitable giving best practices. Fremont Bank has consistently received this special award, since its inception three years ago.
- Fremont Bank was recognized as one of the Top 50 Corporate Philanthropists in the Silicon Valley/San Jose Area by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal, and was bestowed an award for its cash contributions to Silicon Valley charities in 2007.
2007
- Fremont Bank received the Business Service Award presented by the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce. Fremont Bank was recognized for providing philanthropic service beyond the scope of normal business activity in the Tri-Valley area.
- For the second year in a row, Fremont Bank was presented a Levi Strauss & Co. Community Commitment Award by the San Francisco Business Times. Fremont Bank was one of 11 recipients of the award, which recognizes companies for giving more than 1% of their pre-tax income to charitable causes.
- Fremont Bank was recognized as one of The Top 70 Largest Corporate Philanthropists in the Greater Bay Area by the San Francisco Business Times. Fremont Bank ranked number 32 on the publication’s list, which is based on total cash contributions paid by companies to Bay Area charities in 2006.
- Fremont Bank was recognized as one of The Top 10 Corporate Philanthropists in the Silicon Valley/San Jose Area by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal. Fremont Bank ranked number 9 on the overall publication’s list of the top 50 companies that gave cash contributions to Silicon Valley charities in 2006.
2006
- Fremont Bank received the Community Partner of the Year Award presented by Assemblymember Alberto Torrico at the State of the 20th Assembly District Address. Fremont Bank was recognized for its distinguished record of public service and immeasurable contributions to the advancement of the community and state.
- Fremont Bank was presented a Levi Strauss & Co. Community Commitment Award by the San Francisco Business Times. Fremont Bank was one of 10 recipients of the award, which recognizes companies for giving more than 1% of their pre-tax income to charitable causes.
- Fremont Bank was recognized as one of The Top 65 Largest Corporate Philanthropists in the Greater Bay Area by the San Francisco Business Times. Fremont Bank ranked number 39 on the publication’s list, which is based on total cash contributions paid by corporations to Bay Area charities in 2005.
- Fremont Bank was recognized as one of The Top 35 Corporate Philanthropists in the Silicon Valley/San Jose Area by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal. Fremont Bank ranked number 13 on the publication’s list, which is based on total cash contributions paid by companies to Bay Area charities in 2005.
2005
- Fremont Bank was recognized as one of The Top 60 Largest Corporate Philanthropists in the Greater Bay Area by the San Francisco Business Times. Fremont Bank ranked number 38 on the publication’s list, which is based on total cash contributions paid to Bay Area-based charitable organizations in fiscal-year 2004.
- Fremont Bank was recognized as one of The Top 25 Corporate Philanthropists in the Silicon Valley/San Jose Area by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal. Fremont Bank ranked number 17 on the list of top corporate givers in the Silicon Valley.
