Fremont Bank Bolsters Residential Mortgage Services
FREMONT, Calif. August 20, 2012 - Fremont Bank, a leading full-service community bank in Northern California, announced today an expansion of residential mortgage services that will diversify its products, improve efficiency and strengthen the bank's position as one of the nation's top lenders. Earlier this year, Mortgage Executive Magazine named Fremont Bank the nation's 10th Best Mortgage Company based on loan volume.
The expansion involves a technological overhaul of Fremont Bank's current residential mortgage servicing program, allowing the bank to accommodate increased growth in a timely manner. Clients will also be able to conduct mortgage-related transactions and manage loans online. Its partnership with LPS, the nation's leading mortgage technology provider, gives Fremont Bank access to more products and services, with added flexibility to offer clients' tailored interest rates and loan programs. According to Jan Ford, vice president of loan serving, the partnership will significantly expand Fremont Bank's client base.

Fremont Bank recently enjoyed record-breaking years in loan volume led by its Residential Lending Department. Last year, the bank funded $3.9 billion in mortgage loans-a record number already surpassed in 2012, as of July 31. Fremont Bank is expected to fund more than $6 billion in residential loans by the end of the year.
