Bank Foundation Contributes $25,000 in Holiday Grants To Local Nonprofits
FREMONT, California - December 9, 2010 - Fremont Bank Foundation,
a philanthropic arm of the Bay Area’s Fremont Bank, recently
announced the recipients of their fifth annual holiday grant program.
Each November, the Fremont Bank Foundation awards 25 nonprofit organizations
with $1,000 each. The funding will help the organizations provide
food and basic necessities to a greater number of individuals and
families in the Bay Area.

organizations and to help in their efforts to provide meals and
important services to our neighbors," says Hattie Hyman Hughes,
president of Fremont Bank Foundation. "The need is greater
than ever this year, and we are happy to help make the holidays

This year, the following 25 agencies will each receive a $1,000
grant from the Fremont Bank Foundation:

- Kidango, Inc. – various counties
- LIFE ElderCare, Inc. – Fremont
- Martha’s Kitchen – San Jose
- Open Heart Kitchen – Livermore
- Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments – Fremont
- Spectrum Community Services, Inc. – Hayward
- St. Vincent de Paul Society of Alameda County
- St. Vincent de Paul Society of Contra Costa County
- The Salvation Army Hayward/San Leandro/Castro Valley Corps
